Ink Drawings, made in Oman

The art of drawing is the mother of all fine arts.

Already with the first lines the magic begins. Especially “the art of omission” makes a pen-drawing exciting.

The drawings, as you see here, are washed ink-drawings, sometimes accented with white and color (aquarelle).

The paper I use, is very special, and comes from Nepal.

It’s handmade and contains small pieces of mica and silver in it.

It adds an extra dimension, even more as the theme ‘Oman’

is already quite fairylike .
